How FlexiFone compares with other UK multi-network SIMs

A quick, fair look at what each multi-network SIM is built for.

Multi-network SIMs are getting more popular in the UK, but they are not all the same product. Here is how FlexiFone compares with three alternatives, based on what each provider says on its own website. "Not stated" means their website doesn't mention it.

What stands out

Of the four, FlexiFone is the only one whose website states all of these: hotspot, network blocking, Voice & SMS plans and plans up to 100GB, with every app and website allowed.

To be fair, Fuse is cheaper on a monthly plan (£5.99 against our £8 for 5GB) and offers a 7-day free trial. Our annual 5GB plan works out at £3.75 a month, but it is paid for 12 months upfront.

How to choose

If you only need a cheap, simple data eSIM and no phone number, Fuse is worth a look. If you want a backup for a short list of everyday apps, Smart SIM does that. If you need an IoT or business device connection, AnywhereSIM and our own Business and IoT SIMs are built for that. If you want a normal data or backup voice SIM that works with everything, lets you block your main network, and comes as eSIM or physical SIM, that is FlexiFone.
