If you're using a FlexiFone SIM card in a SIM Wi-Fi router or Hotspot/Tethering device, you’ll need to configure the APN settings manually to access the internet.

In a nutshell, the APN needs to be set to "internet". Below is a generic guide only. Please refer to your device's instruction manual or reach out to your device manufacturer/retailer for specific guidance on setting up the APN.

🧰 What You’ll Need:

  • A 4G/5G SIM-enabled Wi-Fi router (e.g., TP-Link, Huawei, ZTE, D-Link, Netgear)

  • A FlexiFone SIM with an active data plan

  • A laptop, tablet, or phone connected to the router via Wi-Fi or Ethernet

🔧 Step-by-Step APN Setup

1. Insert the SIM & Power On

  • Place your FlexiFone SIM card into the router’s SIM slot.

  • Power on the router and wait for the boot process to complete.

2. Access Router Admin Panel

  • Connect your computer or phone to the router (via Wi-Fi or Ethernet).

  • Open a web browser and enter the router’s IP address in the address bar:
    Usually one of the following:
    192.168.0.1
    192.168.1.1
(Check your router label or manual if unsure)

  • Log in using your admin credentials.
    Common defaults:

    • Username: admin

    • Password: admin or blank

  • Enable Data Roaming, if the option is available

5. Save and Reboot

  • Click Save or Apply.

  • Restart the router by powering it off and on again (a full restart is important).

✅ After Restart: Check Your Connection

Once restarted:

  • Your router should automatically connect to the FlexiFone mobile network.

  • You should see signal bars, network name, or a status that says "Connected".

  • Try visiting a website to confirm internet access.
