If you're using a FlexiFone SIM card in a SIM Wi-Fi router or Hotspot/Tethering device, you’ll need to configure the APN settings manually to access the internet.
In a nutshell, the APN needs to be set to "internet". Below is a generic guide only. Please refer to your device's instruction manual or reach out to your device manufacturer/retailer for specific guidance on setting up the APN.
🧰 What You’ll Need:
A 4G/5G SIM-enabled Wi-Fi router (e.g., TP-Link, Huawei, ZTE, D-Link, Netgear)
A FlexiFone SIM with an active data plan
A laptop, tablet, or phone connected to the router via Wi-Fi or Ethernet
🔧 Step-by-Step APN Setup
1. Insert the SIM & Power On
Place your FlexiFone SIM card into the router’s SIM slot.
Power on the router and wait for the boot process to complete.
2. Access Router Admin Panel
Connect your computer or phone to the router (via Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
Open a web browser and enter the router’s IP address in the address bar:
Usually one of the following:
192.168.0.1
192.168.1.1
(Check your router label or manual if unsure)Log in using your admin credentials.
Common defaults:Username: admin
Password: admin or blank

3. Navigate to APN Settings
Go to the section labeled Network Settings, Internet Settings,depending on your router model.
Look for a tab or menu called APN, Profile Management, or Cellular Settings.

4. Configure the APN Manually
Set the following values:

✅ Be sure to:
Select "Manual" mode if there’s an option between Manual or Auto APN
Enable Data Roaming, if the option is available
5. Save and Reboot
Click Save or Apply.
Restart the router by powering it off and on again (a full restart is important).
✅ After Restart: Check Your Connection
Once restarted:
Your router should automatically connect to the FlexiFone mobile network.
You should see signal bars, network name, or a status that says "Connected".
Try visiting a website to confirm internet access.
